Berks County Chronology

Berks County was created from Cumberland, Lancaster, Philadelphia, and Non-County Area 1 in 1752. Berks lost to creation of Northumberland in 1772. Berks lost to the creation of Schuylkill in 1849. Berks lost to creation of Lebanon in 1865.
