LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF
EMORY MORLAND GREATHOUSE

Emory Morland Greathouse Ola Jean "Boggs" Greathouse

Lineage: Emory Morland Greathouse (Ervin M., Isaac B. "Tas", Edward "Ned", John Sr.)

In the name of God, Amen.

I, Emory Morland Greathouse of Washington, D.C. being of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding, and capable of executing a valid deed or contract, considering the certainty of death and the uncertainty of the time thereof, and being desirous to settle my worldly affairs, and thereby be the better prepared to leave this world when it shall please the Almighty to call me hence, do hereby make, publish and declare this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking and annulling all wills and testamentary dispositions heretofore made by me, in manner and form following, that is to say:

First, and principally, I commit my soul into the hands of Almighty God, and my body to the earth, to decently buried at the discretion of my executrix hereinafter named; and my will is, that all my just debts and funeral expenses shall be paid by my executrix hereinafter named as soon after my decease as shall be convenient:

Second, I give, devise and bequeath to my wife, Ola J. Boggs Greathouse, absolutely and in fee simple, all my property, real, personal or mixed, of which I may die seized, wherever situated or located, with the exception of the following:

Third, to my sister, Safrona Pearson of Charleston, West Virginia, I devise
my undivided portion of the estate of my mother, Effie L. Greathouse, situate in Richwood, West Virginia:

Fourth, to all my nephews and nieces (of the first generation) I bequeath
$10 each: Proviso: To my nephew, Richard Greathouse, Richwood, West
Virginia, on the completion of high school, I bequeath $250; otherwise $10:

Sixth, in the event of myself and my aforesaid wife dies on or about the same time of an unforeseen occurrence, I devise and bequeath all of my property and estate, as provided in Second above, to: Safrona Pearson, Sue Boggs, Paul Greathouse, Zonie Hunt to share equally. The other provisions of the will shall not be affected thereby.

All the rest and residue of my estate, both real, personal and mixed, I give, devise, and bequeath to my ___None___ to them and their heirs and assigns forever, share and share alike, as tenants in common.

And lastly, I do hereby nominate, constitute and appoint my wife, Ola J.
Boggs Greathouse, executrix of this, my last Will and Testament, and I desire that my executrix hereinbefore named shall not be required to give bond for the faithful performance of the duties of that office.

IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I have set my hand and seal to this, my last Will and Testament, at Washington, D.C., this ninth day of February in the year of our Lord One thousand nine hundred and fifty-seven.
