Shenandoah County Chronology

Shenandoah County was founded as Dunmore County from Frederick County in 1772; Dunmore was renamed Shenandoah in 1778; Shenandoah lost to creation of Page in 1831; Shenandoah lost to creation of Warren in 1836.
